yang Vee pakai. Super in love with this new line up dari Rihanna! The best
part, Fenty Beauty menawarkan 40 shades of foundation! I know right! Banyak
gila. Usually macam 10 shades sahaja or max dalam 15-20 shades. But girl,
Rihanna top it, Rihanna terus keluarkan 40 shades of foundation as debut line
up dia. Vee actually pergi ke hari pelancaran Fenty Beauty di Sephora KLCC dan
menjadi salah seorang 100 yang pertama to see and shop Fenty Beauty. Nak tahu

Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation
langsung worldwide pada 8 September 2017. Event bermula pada 7am tapi outlet
open for shopping at 10am. So Vee sampai dalam a few minutes to 10 am.
Alhamdulillah dapat juga line up to be the first 100 person, sebab 100 yang pertama
eligible for their beautiful pouch/clutch bag when check out kat counter. Bag
tu sangat cantik! 100 pertama yang line up akan dapat gelang/band Fenty Beauty
to prove that korang beratur untuk menjadi antara pertama experience Fenty
Beauty. Masa check out dekat counter show band ni untuk claim holo pouch dia
yang cantik tu.
So nice of them,
provide mineral water and Garrett popcorn to those yang beratur. The first one
yang line up that day, actually came at 5 am! Seriously, awal gila dia
sampai. Jom kita masuk Sephora!
Of course bila
masuk-masuk je Sephora, I was so amazed to see this whole line up of various
foundation shades! Seriously, tersusun cantik dengan banyak warna nya.
Actually masa hari
launching tu, Vee hanya beli foundation dia sahaja. Tapi Vee did try and play
around, swatches barang-barang Fenty Beauty yang lain. So dalam post kali ni
Vee akan give my opinion according to makeup items lah.
Primer – Pro Filt’r
Instant Retouch Primer
talk about their primer. Primer dia datang dalam botol yang besar, sama besar
dengan botol foundation dia. Cuma penutup dia warna nude pink.
In my opinion,
Vee rasa primer dia best, sebab senang masuk dalam skin. Dia bukan jenis yang
akan blur kan pores korang atau fill your pores macam Benefit Porefessional.
Kalau primer macam tu yang korang prefer, then this is not your primer. Dia tak
cover atau tutup your pores tapi Primer ni bagi your skin lagi hydrating and
buat foundation korang lagi long wearing. Personally Vee lagi suka primer yang
macam ni. Previously Vee hanya guna primer spray dari MAC sebab dia jenis air,
senang masuk dalam skin dan buat lagi foundation tu tahan. Sebab kalau kulit
kita tak cukup hydration, pakai foundation macam mana bagus pun, dia either
lagi berminyak, cakey atau tak tahan lama. Personally, Vee rasa primer dia
best. I might buy this next time I pergi Sephora.
Foundation – Pro Filt’r
Soft Matte Longwear:
highlight of their collection lah. Memang vision Rihanna untuk able to
cater as many skin tone as she can. Vee rasa ramai dalam kalangan kita pun
mengalami masalah nak cari shades foundation yang memang ngam dengan skin. Yang
ada pun macam 5 shades, the most Vee rasa dalam 10 shades macam tu or maybe
more, and some brand even cater 2-3 shades sahaja tapi claim boleh suits dengan
semua skin tones. Lagi-lagi yang ada di pasaran kebanyakkan nya lebih bias dan
cater untuk fair or light skin tone. For those yang tan dan dark skin tone ni,
memang susah nak dapat the right shades. Dengan adanya 40 shades for foundation
ni, memang suddenly hype sebab ramai think that Rihanna able to solve this
problem.
Mula-mula Vee try
sendiri cari the right shades for me. Be mind that Pro Filt’r Soft Matte
Longwear Foundation ni dia ada banyak undertone, pink, yellow, red undertone.
Foundation with cool and warm colours. So bila nak cari your shades, korang try
dulu kat kedai, lepas tu pergi jalan-jalan. Tengok sesuai ke tak. Nampak kelabu
tak muka korang, nampak merah tak muka korang. Sampai korang puas hati baru
beli, okay?
Lepas daripada event
ni, Vee balik dan try sendiri foundation ni untuk beberapa hari. Kalau nak tahu
opinion Vee tentang foundation ni, teruskan membaca ye, selepas review ni, Vee
akan teruskan dengan product-product Fenty Beauty yang lain ya.

Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation:
the packaging. Cantik, botol dia bukan hitam atau penutup hitam like kebiasaan
brand makeup mesti akan opt for black packaging. Botol dia berat, cantik, sleek
and beautiful.
In terms of colours, as
you all know memang banyak, dari very pale, fair sampai lah ke dark and darkest
shades. Dan jarak shades dia, dari satu shades ke shades lagi tu tak jauh
sangat, yang membezakan dia adalah undertone. So it is possible to find your
right shades. Vee jumpa shades yang betul-betul match dengan my skin.
Usually
Vee kena mix sendiri dua (2) foundation. Contohnya kalau brand tu offer only
three (3) shades of foundation Vee kena mix medium & dark. Kalau brand tu offer
more shades, Vee usually akan beli dua (2) foundation yang yellow based tone yang
cerah sikit dari skin Vee dan yang gelap sikit dari skin Vee kemudian mix kan
both. Leceh kan? But this one, since I found my right shades, dah tak perlu nak
mix-mix lagi! But foundation ni dia oxidized sikit ye, so kena be mind that,
kalau korang suka nampak lagi cerah, kena cari satu (1) shades lighter dari
warna yang match dengan skin korang tu.
dia, dia matte dan memang matte foundation. Tapi Vee tak rasa dia mengeringkan
kulit Vee. Kalau you guys jenis suka matte then it is for you. Because some
people suka foundation yang dewy ni sebab nampak natural glowing gitu kan? But,
Vee personally find that foundation ni tak perlu untuk di set kan lagi dengan
powder. The foundation is more than enough. Vee rasa ni sangat bagus, because
of why, nak tahu salah satu kenapa makeup boleh jadi cakey? Haaa. Sebab terlalu
banyak powder kat skin korang, makeup tu jadi cakey, jadi merekah sebab banyak
sangat powder. Foundation Pro Filt’r ni dia set sendiri tak perlu lagi setting
powder. Tapi kalau korang rasa korang perlu pakai setting powder pun it still
look okay, sebab foundation ni matte dia memang tak bergerak lah.
Furthermore, dia tak
rasa tebal, tak rasalah macam pakai foundation which selalu nya kita boleh rasa
‘foundation’ tu kat muka. Tapi yang ni memang ringan, rasa selesa. So far after
few times Vee pakai, Vee tak touch up sangat pun, only at the tip of my nose,
sebab Vee memang sangat-sangat oily kat tip of my nose (dah rasa macam Rudolf
the Reindeer dah). Bila after few hours pakai foundation ni, our natural oil
produce kat skin kita kan, dia buat foundation tu jadi lagi cantik, then Vee
look like natural glow, super love!
If needed nak touch up,
korang boleh ambil any translucent powder sebab dia tak ada warna kan, then
touch up je. Or korang boleh try yang Fenty Beauty punya translucent powder tu.
Tu pun nice untuk touch up sebab dia datang dalam bentuk compact. Another best
part of this foundation that dia tak transfer ke jari. Once dia dah kering, Vee
touch my face and it did not get transferred. Some foundation kita kena jaga
bila dah pakai, ha tak boleh nak landing sesuka hati nanti foundation kat
cushion la kat seat kereta lah, lepas tu jumpa kawan-kawan law nak laga pipi
kena beringat, hang pakai foundation kang adalah pulak foundation melekat kat
tudung kawan hang nanti. But this one, memang tak ada kesan jari kat muka. Good
formula Rihanna!
If you have dry skin or
flaky skin maybe korang boleh avoid this foundation. But maybe sebab tu dia
datang dengan hydrating primer – Pro Filt’r Instant
Retouch Primer, korang boleh pakai primer ni dulu kemudian baru pakai
foundation Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear ni. So far, foundation ni definitely
my current favourite foundation. Approve!
Concealer &
Countour Sticks – Match Stix Matte Skinstick
prefer sangat contour cream product sebab if kita tak blend betul-betul akan
nampak obvious satu line kat muka, plus susah nak control. Untuk contour Vee
lagi prefer powder dari cream sebab sennag nak control dan lagi senang nak
blend. Sometimes, cream products boleh buat foundation kita bergerak sebab tu
Vee personally lagi suka powder. Furthermore, cream product ni kena blend
betul-betul dan makan masa, Kalau boleh nak makeup macam chap chus chas siap!
Ha gituu.
But if korang jenis
suka cream contour, korang should try this one. Fenty Beauty keluarkan 20
shades untuk Concealer & Contour sticks. Banyak kan?? Dari light sampai lah
gelap, pilih lah mana sesuai dengan kulit. Warna pun pigmented. Packaging dia
pun magnetic dan dalam bentuk honey comb, fun kan?
Highlight – Match Stix
Shimmer Skinstick
sticks dia memang da bomb. Vee personally suka yang Unicorn dan Confetti shades
tu, both dia purple tone sikit, bila apply pada skin dia akan nampak effect dewy
or basah2 mcm natural skin glow gituuu ha. Definitely gonna buy that next time.
Packaging dia sama dengan Match Stix Matte Skinstick dia, magnetic dan bentuk
honey comb.
Lipgloss – Gloss Bomb
Universal Lip Luminizer (Fenty Glow)
dia ni, biasa sahaja, which orang boleh dapat similar products yang lebih
murah. Harga dia RM90, which is to me, agak mahal la for a mere lip gloss. Yes,
this lip gloss suits with any skin tone dan sangat universal. Korang boleh top
this lip gloss on any lipctick colour korang sebab dia sangat sheer, but glow
dia cantik. But still, for me this one is a pass. Save your money and buy a
cheaper lip gloss.
Powder Highlight – Killawatt
Freestyle Highlighter & Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo
super cantik and amazing!. Semua warna dia cantik-cantik. Previously, highlight
macam too white lah too bronze lah, now Rihanna keluarkan macam-macam warna
highlight, gold – Trophy Wife, white – Metal Moon, Light colours – Lightning Dust/Fire
Crystal, Natural gitu – Girl Next Door/Chic Phreak, Champange – Hustla Baby/Mean
Money, pink – Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule. Semua highlight dia memang blinding and
nice! Trophy wife tu super cantikk, glitter dia memang sebatu nampak ko pakai
highlight okayhh. Personally Vee suka Hustla Baby/Mean Money, yang tu memang
awesome. Highlight memukau mata yang memandang, chewaaahh. Kilat-kilat macam
disko ball. Haha. But seriously, sangat amazing. Totally recommended okay!
BRUSHES & TOOLS
yang Rihanna keluarkan untuk debut collection dia. Dia juga keluarkan tools and
brushes sekali, untuk complement makeup items dia. Vee suka sangat dengan
foundation brush dia sebab dense, so korang boleh dapat full coverage guna foundation
brush dia. Full-bodied Foundation Brush
#110 ni cantik, nude pink gitu.
Another brush yang Vee
recommend adalah Cheek-hugging Highlight Brush #120. Ha yang ni memang nie
kalau korang guna untuk blusher atau highlight. Shape brush ni dia curve so dia
memang hug you cheek so it will give you a nice full blusher or highlight
coverage.
The rest of the tools,
Vee not a fan sangat. Precision Makeup Sponge #100 or Beauty Blender dia, okay
sebab ada one side of the sponge is actually rata so senang nak manipulate
untuk blend kan foundation, powder and etc. Tapi, Vee jarang guna sponge sebab
Vee lagi suka guna brushes untuk dapatkan full coverage. The rest of the brush,
Portable Touch Up Brush #130, Portable Contour & Concealer Brush #150 and Portable
Highlighter Brush #140 yang ni Vee kurang suka sebab Vee rasa handle dia quite
bulky instead of bristle dia. Susah nak guna dan susah nak blend. I’m not a fan
for these brushes. Vee prefer bentuk brush yang normal lah. Tapi actually
packaging dia nice sebab complement the whole collection looks.
Blotting Powder &
Paper – Invisimatte Blotting Powder & Invisimatte Blotting Paper
Blotting Powder, Vee rasa dia nice, especially kalau untuk touch up. Plus dia
datang dalam bentuk compact powder so, tak ada lah messy bila keluar dan nak
touch up makeup compare to translucent powder. Tapi, kalau translucent powder,
Vee prefer Laura Mercier lagi dari this one. Invisimatte Blotting Paper dia,
biasa je Vee rasa Cuma if korang pakai Fenty Beauty ni dia cantik la, packaging
pun cantik, nak keluarkan dari bag pun nampak cantik. Tapi price wise, better
beli yang kat drugstore punya paper warna biru tu, function dia sama sahaja.
Tapi biru lah, hehe.

Overall opinion:
debut collection surely Rihanna top it. Not only keluarkan banyak jenis makeup
items, dia juga keluarkan banyak shades untuk product-product dia. Vee suka
product dia. It looked like Rihanna has done some reasearch before producing
these products. Good job Rihanna, it’s a very good product and I love it so
much. Looking forward for more future makeup items from Fenty Beauty.
